Sembler and all their lying lawyers are scumbags of the greatest degree. They have contributed NOTHING to the Atlanta economy except hiring illegal aliens to do their dirty work, shifty construction firms to pan scrape the land so that it looks like a huge parking lot, lawyers who couldnt even get a job in legal aid because of their shady past and cries of "poor me" with their hands out for a bailout from the same people they were trying to screw 6 months earlier.

Jeff Fuqua is a deceptive, bribing, scheming scumbag who is getting what he deserves. And for the record he has NO RELATION to John Fuqua, a man who did MUCH for this city. I would love nothing more than to see Sembler forced into bankruptcy , although Im sure that will never happen. they continue to bribe their way into deals while people carry on their lives in total ambivalence. maybe we get what we deserve.

Thank God. Good call Georgia Supreme Court.

"Jacobs said he believes voter approval is necessary for some deals, such as so-called “backdoor general obligation” bond issues by the authority, whose members are all appointed by the DeKalb County Commission. In other cases, such as the proposed Sembler deal, he might support amending the law to only require approval by the county commission.
“In all cases, a body of elected officials would have to sign off on it,” he said."
I often agree with Mike Jacobs, but I cannot agree on that point.
