Cobb deportation drive: Enforcing the law, or isolating immigrants?
The Cobb County sheriff’s deportation efforts have undermined law enforcement work in immigrant communities and refocused police attention to traffic violations and other minor crimes, the ACLU says in a report issued Monday. Since it comes from the ACLU, many of you will automatically dismiss this report, titled “Terror and Isolation in Cobb.” I’m posting the report here so you can download and read it for yourself.
