Different police departments handle it differently. APD requires a Use of Force report when you pull your gun, I’m told. If you have an APD manual that says something different, send me a scan and I’ll post it. If not, I’ll have a copy in the morning and will post it then.

check with APD policy manual…..Use of force report should be completed if an officer uses any form of physical contact is made…it does not say..if an officer pulls his gun out. im just saying…

I believe the Use of Force report has to be filed when an officer draws his gun and points it at you. Sexual preference might not be pertinent. Then again it might. I’m just saying…

I didn’t know a Use of Force report was needed for an officer “yelling and cursing”. If that’s the case I need a Use of Force report too, since the officer yelled at me for not slowing down while he was directing traffic and pointing his finger at me. Also, what does their sexual preference has to do with this report? Would it matter if they were straight? I’m just saying…
